East Thirsk - Play Area

DESCRIPTION

This area with equipment chosen by the pupils of Thirsk Community Primary School has traditional play equipment. There are two sets of swings – flat and cradle, a see-saw, slide and spring horse. There are seats and bins. This area will be changing within 2007/8 with some redevelopment including improved safety surfacing being installed. The area is owned by Hambleton DC but leased to Thirsk Town Council who own and maintain the equipment. A path leads from this area over a bridge which crosses a ditch to the Millennium Green.
